    100 Animals And Their Young Ones

    Like humans, animals have families. Some animals give birth to babies, while others lay eggs. These little animals, referred to as offspring or babies, have names.

    Just as we raise our babies, provide them with food, and shelter, and care for them, animals also have strict parental duties, such as providing their offspring with food, safeguarding them against predators, building homes, and teaching them life skills.

    Some animals perform parental duties with veracity, while others do not need parental care at all. For instance, Chimpanzees, polar bears, dolphins, and giraffes receive parental care several years after they are born, while reptiles are independent immediately after coming out of the eggs.
